ADAM Architecture is a leader in traditional architecture and urbanism.

The award winning practice is run by five directors: Robert Adam, Nigel Anderson, Paul Hanvey, Hugh Petter and George Saumarez Smith. In March 2010 the practice changed its name from Robert Adam Architects to ADAM Architecture to recognise the individual design reputations of the five directors and to better reflect the joint ownership of the practice. It was important to retain a valuable link to the name Robert Adam Architects and the strong reputation that has been built over a number years.

Projects are led by individual directors, with an emphasis on their own particular design expertise. The firm has offices in the UK in Winchester and London, with work throughout Britain, the USA, continental Europe, the near East and Japan.
The team includes architects, technologists, historic building consultants, urban designers, project managers, product designers and other external consultants and craftspeople. Projects include town and country houses, housing development, urban masterplans, commercial development and public buildings.

The firm promotes traditional and classical design principles, not just through the practice of architecture and urbanism, but also through teaching, writing and research.

This website shows a selection of different projects by each director. If you would like further information please contact us.
