Refectory table
A large dining or board room table in the tradition of the great refectory tables from seventeenth century manor houses. A heavy top made from three thick planks is supported on two massive tapered columns with a spiral inlay of fruitwood. The whole table can be dismantled for easy storage or transport and the wedges that hold it together remain visible as design features. The central legs and shaped feet ensure that there is no obstruction to any seating position. The oak is left in its natural colour to allow for gradual natural darkening of the wood.
