A new mixed development in one of England's most attractive villages - Norton St Philip, near Bath. The traditionally designed buildings are in keeping with the character and nature of the existing historic village. The development includes a variety of residential units, a shop, doctors' surgery and commercial office space. These will replace a derelict factory and unsightly buildings on the site. The access road provides for entry to the site through a modest public space designed to create the potential for future multi-use activity. The layout of the development has evolved from careful examination of the morphology of the village in the context of the requirements of the development site. It is designed to respond to the site topography and existing links to village amenities.
